A.W All Property Maintenance collects a small amount of personal information so we can quote and carry out work for you. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you request a quote through this website we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it to us, the service you are after and whatever you tell us about the job. If you send photos of the work area, we collect those too.
When we come out to quote or to work we may note down the property address and take photos of the areas we are quoting on so we can price the job accurately.
Why we collect it
We use your information to prepare your quote, to contact you about it, to schedule the work, to carry out the job and to invoice you afterwards. If you have asked us to, we may also contact you when a service is due again, such as a gutter clean before storm season.
We do not use your details for anything else and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not trade it. We only share it where we have to: with our accountant for invoicing and tax records, with our insurer if a claim is ever made, and with anyone we are legally required to give it to.
This website runs on Shopify, and the quote form and website analytics are processed through their systems. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy.
Storage and security
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the work and for the record keeping periods the law requires. It is stored in our email and accounting systems, which are password protected.
No system is perfect and we cannot promise information sent over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
Cookies
This website uses cookies to keep the site working properly and to understand how people find and use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not behave as expected if you do.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email alex@awallpropertymaintenance.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also ask us to delete your details once a job is finished, and we will do that where we are not required to keep the records.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at alex@awallpropertymaintenance.com.au and we will try to sort it out. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
